Harvesting Hope; ARK in Vogue

Dear Champion,
Aaaah!! Our work together with communities made cover! ARK is in Vogue’s April 2026 Earth Issue.

Making ARK team and our partner communities proud— and we hope you too— is how our collective sharing in Feed Back is also creating a path for families to return to their own tradition of nagmamakulog, of sharing their harvests and showing up for each other.
In the piece, we read about Ma’am Julie, a buri hat weaver, who brought her vegetables to the Feed Back Exchange even through the biggest typhoons. She and her community experienced 8 typhoons in the 16-week Feed Back program. But that didn’t deter her and her community from planting again and again, asking their leaders to host the Exchange no matter what happens.
Ma’am Julie and the families of partner communities in Prieto Diaz, Bulusan, and Sta. Magdalena in Sorsogon have found not just food and abundance in Feed Back, but a way to reclaim their love for each other and strength in community.

This is true as well of all the 123 communities that have now graduated from Feed Back across 11 waves in the past 5 years.
Now, as a new war puts the Philippines and many other countries in an energy and food crisis, we are inspired by Ma’am Julie and our Feed Back graduates to keep going as Feed Back is needed more than ever.
We— Champions— need hope and Feed Back more than ever.
Please read the article. Please join us in bringing Feed Back to more communities in need.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for always being first in inspiring hope. We thank Chris Po, Ted Po, and the entire Century Foundation Team for bringing us to Sorsogon. We thank Bawa Mallick Foundation, GT Foundation, Rotary Club of Makati, Aspen Impact Foundation, Santeh Feeds Corporation, and Filipino Googlers Network for making sure each community had a Champion and we didn’t leave anyone behind.
Thank you to Mayor Mark of Sta. Magdalena, Mayor Weng of Bulusan, Mayor Romy of Prieto Diaz, Congressman Iway of Negros Oriental, Mayor Lawrence of La Libertad, and Mayor Malou of Reina Mercedes for wanting food security and new futures for your people.
Last but not least, we thank Joyce Oreña and the entire Vogue Team, and photographers Artu Nepomuceno and Archie Geotina for the love they shared and for featuring us. We also thank Clint Ramos, Federico de Vera, and Chad Arcinue for their eternal championship to spot light ARK.
Ayesha and Macy, ARK
